A tourist goes on an absurdist trip into the Swiss Alps, finding more than he bargained for.

Our second ANI-JAM led us to a beautiful old farmhouse in the Swiss Alps where we sucked up the chilly mountain air and the breathtaking landscape around us. After a short hike we got inspired to animate a bunch of postcards and arrange them into a little story. The result is this quirky shortfilm, which highlights the impact of regional tourism on the countryside with a critical eye, but also with a humorous touch of Swissness.

Unser zweites ANI-JAM Projekt führte uns in einen einwöchigen Team Retreat in einem alten Bauernhaus in Schwellbrunn, Appenzell. Eine Wanderung zum nahegelegenen Seealpsee hat uns dazu inspiriert, kitschige Postkarten zu animieren und in eine zusammenhängende Geschichte zu verpacken. Entstanden ist dabei der Kurzfilm „Alpocalypse Cow“, der mit einer selbstironischen Portion Swissness und einem kritischen Auge die Auswirkung des Tourismus auf unsere heimische Alpenwelt beleuchtet.
